So I recently got a facial and the facialist used some kind of guava scented serum or face oil on me and now I am on the hunt for something similar. Guava just seems so exotic and summery and smells deliciously tropical. 🏝️ I’m not going on vacation this summer so bring on all the tropical fruit scented beauty products!!!

My sister lives in California and we are both obsessed with this local jewelry shop near her, Mama Bijoux. I really want a new pair of earrings so I can be just like Hailey Bieber with her cool earring stack.

Thanks to my Grandma’s bad genes, I have some rosacea going on on my face and I keep hearing really good things about LED face masks. Let’s see which one Vogue recommends. The ones I’ve seen at Sephora are sooo pricey, but I really want one to help with my rosacea. Plus I wanna wear it around the house and scare my husband and son while getting my self-care on. Win win right?!

i’ve gotten really into sourdough lately after a lovely midwifery client gifted me a sourdough starter that is apparently like 100 years old. How cool is that?! Anyways, so far I’ve made pancakes and bagels and they have both been edible so I’m gonna try to make a loaf of sourdough bread next and I am dying for this cute bread oven from Le Cresuet in their shallot color. I started lusting after it ages ago when I was still baking plain old wheat bread. I feel like I totally deserve it now that I’m making sourdough from scratch, ya know?

Have you hear about the butter 🧈 nail trend that Selena Gomez started? I think it sounds kind of gross and could use a better name, but I actually really like the look and feel like butter nails give off major springtime vibes. I think I’m gonna try it once at least. I’ll probably go get a manicure since I’m not sure I wanna commit to buying an entire bottle of nail polish in this color.

Between being a mom (meaning I’m often tired) and being a home birth midwife (also meaning I’m often sleep-deprived and tired) I need these in my life.
