Your cool mom 😎 summer shopping guide

I’m a busy mom like you and I’m tired of making decisions all the time.

I need want to do some summer shopping, but I’m having some serious analysis paralysis.

Anyways here’s what’s in my carts right now…

1. My first decision is a Sephora showdown. I’m honestly torn between two lip glosses. I might just buy both of them because I’ll probably lose one anyways. The Mango Lip Glowy Balm by LANEIGE looks so tropical and buttery smooth and the Strawberry Balm Dotcom Lip Balm and Skin Salve by Glossier looks like an instant classic and comes in their original Balm Dotcom formula that is apparently a really big deal.

Would you buy both? Do you have another lip gloss recommendation?

2. My next dilemma is pajamas. I love pajamas, but I’m super picky about them. They need to be comfortable and flattering. They definitely need to stay in place while I sleep too because I hate when the legs ride up or get all tangled and I can’t stand waking up with a fully exposed boob. I need my pajamas to work as hard and sleep as hard as I do. I’m guessing you feel the same way? Tell me if I’ wrong.

I wanna try out this new brand LAKE. I’m really leaning towards this Alice Shorts Set in Blue Seersucker, but I also think this Pima Ruffle Midi Nightgown in White is really pretty and looks both comfy and flattering enough.

3. Decision number 3…THE beach/ pool tote. I love the Bogg Bag, but the Getaway Bag costs like $15 less and is basically the same so…

I’m still debating, but I can’t sit on this one for too long because we used my husband’s gym bag to go to the pool yesterday 🫠

4. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get one of these Mesh Beach Bags for my son. I mean not gonna lie… I might get on for myself too. He can keep all his beach and pool toys in it and I can use mine to collect she shells because that’s still my favorite thing to do at the beach.

This one isn’t actually much of a dilemma.

5. Ok so I feel like sunscreen keeps getting cooler every summer.

Check out this sweet sunscreen from Vacation. So cool. Plus you can get it at Target.

I love everything Sol de Janeiro makes. I already ordered two of these so jut waiting for them to arrive. Can’t wait for my entire family to smell like this stuff.

I also already have this. I ❤️ it. My only sunscreen dilemma this summer will be which one to use first.

6. Summer beach towels are definitely on my shopping list this summer because we are that family that have one real beach towel and then a few old bath towels that we make do with.

Not cool.

It’s time for that to change.

I’m really giving these towels the 👀 because not only are they quick drying, but they are also sand repellent. Win win right?
